| 10 | Todd Owen Mjos Obituary Mjos Todd Owen Mjos of Robbinsdale died Tuesday, May 24, 2005 after challenging and delighting an amazing assortment of loving relatives and friends for 55 years. Some of these people are: Ingrid, daughter; Jonathan, brother; Betsey, sister; Coleman and Jamison, nephews; Gretchen, Melanie, and Kirstin, nieces; Fredrick, Eugene, and John, uncles and; Violet, Audrey, and Fran, aunts. Todd was incredibly vital, irrepressible, unforgettable, admirable. Hopefully, all of you reading these words have the great good fortune to know someone like him. Sure, he was broken glass and thunder at times, but like most of us at our best, he was also the love and kindness and gentleness and compassion that often completely satisfies. Todd was so much. He was masterfully discerning appreciation and granitic loyalty. He was as genuine as gravity and as inspiring as the myriad blues and greens in the bright light of a sunny day. He was the force of will that with only the steel-eyed glare of grim determination averted a knife assault upon him in a foreign country. And, of course, he was the sensitive "safe cracker" who could break into a conversation with a witticism or humorous gesture and blast those present into fits of uncontrollable laughter! Todd was that bright sun whose life makes dust of these poor words in their futile attempt to suggest just how special and wonderful he was to so many of us. May we all never forget that it's people like Todd who make it so easy for us to remember that nothing in life is more important than the love of others and the chance to love them. We all thank you, Todd! All those who loved or cared about Todd or friends of family are enthusiastically invited to attend a celebration of Todd's life. It will be held Friday at 5:30 PM at St. Petersburg Restaurant. Call Fran at 763-546-4838 to RSVP (appreciated, but certainly not required) or if you need more information. If you wish to send a memorial, send it to Ingrid Mjos at 3431 York Ave. No., Robbinsdale, MN 55422 | Mjos, Todd Owen (I1431)
