  	Gladys Louise 'Glady' Halvorson HOT SPRINGS -Gladys Louise "Glady" Halvorson, 84, of Hot Springs, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, at Evergreen-Hot Springs Extended Care Center. She was born on April 15, 1919, in Bozeman, the daughter of Ole and Jenny Johnson Dedrickson. She moved to Paradise with her family when her father went to work for the Northern Pacific Railroad there. She graduated from Plains High School and then attended Dillon Normal School where she earned her teaching certificate. She taught in Hot Springs and other area schools. On June 22, 1941, she married Derwin Fredrick Halvorson in Belgrade. The couple, later moved to Hot Springs where they made their home for many years. Glady was a member of the Punkin' Chunkin' Time, Order of the Eastern Star and the Nyah Grange. She was active in her community and was greatly loved by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Derwin F. "Din" Halvorson Sr. of Hot Springs; two sons, James J. Halvorson of Hot Springs and Derwin F. Halvorson Jr. of Ronan; one daughter, Kim L. Shea of Hot Springs; three sisters, Marion Hollerback of San Diego, Mildred Pratt of Spokane and Fern Lee Rigney of Butte; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Dedrickson; one sister, Lillian Halverson; and one grandson, Jeremy Jones.

  	Miss Dedrickson Becomes Bride of Derwin Halvorson Paradise, July 5. Miss Gladys Dedrickson. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. Dedrickson of Paradise, and Derwin Halvorson, son of Fred Halvorson of Camas, were married Sunday, June 22, at the St. Paul Lutheran church in Missoula by Rev. Erllng R. Jacobson. Attendants were Misses Lillian and Mildred Dedrickson, the bride's sisters; Louis Halvorson, the groom's brother, and Johnny Dedrickson, the bride's brother. Pink and white carnations decorated the altar and Mrs. Ben Boyd, church organist, played before and during the ceremony. The bride's dress was a white satin princess style with a long train, long sleeves and sweetheart neckline. She wore a fingertip veil and carried a bouquet of calla lilies and white sweet peas. The bridesmaids wore blue chiffon, floor-length dresses with hats to match and corsages of roses and sweet peas. The newlyweds are making their home in Hot Springs
