  Fra Ancestry Ivar Dale: I found some info on the Iowa census of 1925 for Matilda Gangstead where she listed her last name was Munson and her mother's name was Annie Olesen and her father's name was Iver Munson. Matilda was the oldest daughter of Ivar and Anna Dale and was my father's oldest sister. I do remember when I was a kid we had an uncle in Fort Dodge named Uncle Munc, but can't remember anything else. My sister Mary Ann said that Munson was a name in our family, but she is gone now and no one left with the answers.
